As I came in the old Killarney road

Declared Cork a nuclear free zone.

An excellent declaration

And a source of solace.

Can I now take it

That if a nuclear bomb hit’s the city

It doesn’t count?

There’s a similar sign

Near the Dunkethal roundabout.

I’m safe.

Either way.
